Financial Aid Information
It is important to have all of your financial aid paperwork in order for timely crediting of financial aid to your account. To help speed along the process, please read the following:
- In order to ensure the timely crediting of funds to your account, it is important for you to sign and return the Reply Copy of your Award Notification Letter to the Office of Student Financial Aid Services. Your financial aid cannot be finalized until the Reply Copy is received.
- If your financial aid award amounts (excluding Work-Study) do not cover your University fee bill, you are responsible for paying the difference no later than August 1st.
- Should you need additional resources to meet your educational expenses, the University participates in a variety of alternative loan and tuition payment plan programs. To access this information, click on the University's Financial Aid website. You may also contact the Office of Student Financial Aid Services at 860-486-2819 for more information.
- In order to ensure timely crediting of Federal Stafford Loan funds to your account, first time borrowers must read, complete, and sign the Entrance Counseling Master Promissory Note. You can printout a copy of the Application by clicking here.
- Federal Perkins Loan Promissory Notes and the Confidential Perkins Loan Data Form should be returned to the Office of Student Financial Aid Services. Federal Stafford Loan Master Promissory Notes should be returned to the lender.
