New Student Orientation Program

The transition from high school to a university environment is a challenging, exciting, and sometimes difficult stage of life. In order to better understand the University of Connecticut at Torrington, its services and the student's role in the learning process, we have developed a New Student Orientation Program for incoming undergraduates.

Orientation will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2008 from 1 pm - 5 pm.

The Program is designed to:

familiarize you with the University of Connecticut Torrington Campus
address the questions, concerns and anxieties that you may have regarding entry to the University
provide you with the opportunity to meet with your fellow entering classmates

Participation in the program will help assure that your transition to UConn-Torrington is successful.

All new students, freshmen and transfers as well, are strongly encouraged to participate in the New Student Orientation Program. This is without a doubt your single best opportunity to get the information that you need in order to navigate the UConn system. Please complete the following online response form.
